  • People who register for free live sessions via Luma or LinkedIn
  • CEO Operating Room members
  • Lab applicants and cohort participants
  • Anyone who contacts us directly by email or through any form on the site

What Data We Collect and Why

1. Event Registration Data

What: Name, email address, company name, LinkedIn profile (optional), stage of company.

Where: Collected via Luma or LinkedIn when you register for a free weekly session or express interest in an event. Where registration occurs via LinkedIn, your name, email, and profile data shared by LinkedIn at the point of registration are collected.

Why: To send you session access details, reminders, and the post-session replay link.

Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest and performance of a contract.

2. Membership Data — CEO Operating Room

What: Name, email, payment details (processed by Stripe, not stored by us), company name, ARR stage, Slack profile.

Where: Collected at point of membership sign-up.

Why: To provide access to the CEO Operating Room, manage your subscription, and send you community communications, office hours invitations, and session replays.

Legal basis (GDPR): Performance of a contract.

3. Lab Application Data

What: Name, email, company name, current ARR, funding stage, product description, goal for the Lab, LinkedIn profile.

Where: Collected via the Lab application form on our website.

Why: To review your application, contact you within 48 hours, and if accepted, to manage your participation in the cohort.

Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps.

4. Session Participation Data

What: If you join a Zoom session and participate verbally or on camera, your audio and video may be recorded for the purpose of producing a session replay.

Where: Collected via Zoom.

Why: Replays are made available to CEO Operating Room members. Clips may be used for promotional purposes on LinkedIn or the Full Stack CEO website.

Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest. You are informed of recording at the start of each session. If you do not wish to appear in a replay, you may keep your camera off and participate via chat.

5. Website Analytics

What: Anonymised data on page visits, session duration, referring URL, and device type.

Where: Collected via our website analytics tool.

Why: To understand how people find and navigate the site so we can improve it.

Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest. Where cookies are used for analytics, we obtain consent via our cookie notice.

6. Direct Communications

What: Any personal information you include in an email, contact form submission, or message sent to us directly.

Where: Collected via email or contact forms.

Why: To respond to your enquiry.

  • We do not share your data with advertisers.

All third-party providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable law. We do not authorise any of these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

International Data Transfers

Full Stack CEO™ is incorporated in Delaware, USA, under Aventra Capital Inc. and serves a global membership including users in the European Union, European Economic Area, and United Kingdom. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of EU/EEA personal data.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Data type / Retention period

Event registration data: 24 months from the date of the session

Membership data: Duration of membership plus 12 months after cancellation

Lab application data: 24 months from the date of application

Session recordings: Held in the CEO Operating Room library indefinitely, or until you request removal

Payment records: 7 years (US federal and Delaware recordkeeping requirements)

Direct communications: 12 months from the date of the last message

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct any inaccurate data we hold.
  • Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your data, subject to certain legal exceptions such as payment records we are required to retain.
  • Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: You can request your data in a portable format.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and no payment card data is stored on our systems.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America. Where applicable, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA.
